Healthcare Data Analyst - Item 1022

 

Summary:

  • The candidate will serve on the program support team, in the bureau of data insights and research, in the division of data services and analytics (DDSA).
  • The candidate’s day-to-day responsibilities will center on responding to data requests from program areas (i.e., NYHER, Pharmacy, Health Homes), coordinating with other division staff in response, and other analytical responsibilities as necessary.
  • The Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of SQL coding experience preferably with a healthcare analytics background.

 

 

Additional duties include:

  • Providing technical support for the Bureau’s day-to-day activities including participating in problem solving and operational change activities.
  • Validating and analyzing datasets related to cost reports and rate setting.
  • Providing guidance, management, and Excel workbook enhancements to staff utilizing the Bureau’s datasets.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of SAS or SQL experience

*Employees must follow established work schedules. The usual work schedule is 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise specified by the supervisor, this includes a half hour unpaid lunch break. Total work hours must equal 37.5 hours per week.
